Doug has been in the Massachusetts group benefits space for 13+ years.  Post college, he joined his father's benefits firm (Group Insurance Solutions Inc. dba Sullivan Benefits) and cut his teeth in the business there for the first 7 years.  From there, he spent time at Fallon Health as a group health sales executive before they sunset their commercial business in 2021.  His last stop before starting Edge Benefit Partners was a large national brokerage firm that recently sold for billions.

The reason he love what he does is he gets to work with so many different types of employers. Each one is different, but the magnitude of the conversation is all relative.  It could be a family run business spending thousands a year on their health plan, or a corporation spending millions.  Making health insurance decisions on behalf of employees is balancing act of both personal and financial weight for decision makers. He is passionate about making that process thorough and dynamic, so everyone can move forward confident that they've had a comprehensive look at all options.
